Design and Fabrication of Vehicle Door using Composite Material
This project aims to provide a low cost solution for replacement of vehicle parts that can be fabricated by SMEs. For prototyping vehicle door has been selected. Properties like strength, stiffness and crashworthiness of a door manufactured using composites (E – Glass Woven reinforcement & Polyester as matrix) are compared with that of existing steel door.
Surfing offers an immense opportunity for the application of science and engineering. As the shape and contour of surfboard is what effects the surfing experience and although the shape and design of surfboard remains much of the field of shapers, the optimum design can be found out by employing engineering methods. The material of the surfboard is another very important aspect of the surfing experience and much research is being done for looking out the alternative materials which are lighter, robust and enhance the feel of surfing.

Wind is a clean source of renewable energy that produces no air or water pollution. And since the wind is free, operational costs are nearly zero once a turbine is installed. The main application of wind power is generation of electricity from a power system network integrates transmission grids
